Perfect place to stay in in SMA. Away from downtown (thus the 4-star, not walking distance to anything, on a busy road) but beautifully nestled on top of a hill. The free shuttle can take you anywhere with pleasure. The staff is very friendly and willing to do anything to make your stay a memorable and truly enjoyable one. Little details in the room like the delicious sweets they leave daily add a special touch. The music you hear adds a special vibe. We truly enjoyed our stay there. Thank you Amatte and staff!

I had my wedding brunch here, the day after the wedding and WOW!!! The amount of food that was served, the views, the staff, and not to mention the hotel is STUNNING! I have recommended this location to everyone who has reached out to me for recommendations. Your guests will be in awe of the Amattee. I really recommend stopping here on your trip.

The view is amazing! Make sure you book at sunset. Food was very good and service was excellent (Lupillo was our waiter). Definitely recommend.

Beautiful ambience, generous staff, delicious food on a well situated rooftop. I absolutely love the architectural details of this property and Sophia, the manager, is very kind. I’ve dined here and done photoshoots. I’d love to spend time at the pool! They have a great coffee bar on the same floor as the pool and generally good vibes.

This hotel is outright beautiful and the upstairs rooftop dining areas are gorgeous. Especially for sunsets. The food is mediocre and the drinks are great! Service is okay but the environment is relaxed and gorgeous for photos and some peace and quiet. Great location and close to the town. We came for a wedding and the hotel was lovely.

The ONLY reason for the 2 stars is the NOISE! If you don't mind noise, you would love this hotel. The rooftop bar/restaurant plays loud music starting in the afternoon until at least 11PM every night. The noise goes right into your rooms as if there were no walls. We asked to have our room changed because of the noise. They switched us to a smaller room and the noise was just as loud. However, the staff was really great. Several speak very good English and very helpful. They offer advise of things to do and they offer a shuttle to Centro if you don't want to walk. The rooftop restaurant bar is beautiful and the views of San Miguel are spectacular. The food/menu not so good and overpriced for what you get. We thought based on the name "wellness" this place was going to be SPA like and quiet. It is not.
